Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ExpireNot mobile application (the “App”) and the expirenot.com website (together, the “Services”), operated by Code Majesty Tech LLC (“ExpireNot,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. What ExpireNot Does

ExpireNot helps you track the expiration dates of personal documents — passports, IDs, driver’s licenses, vehicle registrations, insurance policies, and similar paperwork. You photograph a document, our AI service extracts the expiration date and related details, and we remind you before the document expires. Document photos are processed transiently and are not stored; see our Privacy Policy for details.

2. Eligibility and Your Account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Services, and old enough to enter into these Terms or have a parent or guardian’s consent. When you create an account you agree to:

  • Provide an accurate email address that you control
  • Keep access to that email address secure, since sign-in codes are sent to it
  • Accept responsibility for activity under your account
  • Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account

3. Accuracy of Extracted Information — Important

AI extraction is convenient but not infallible. Extracted dates, document types, and names may occasionally be incorrect or incomplete.

You are responsible for verifying that every extracted expiration date matches your actual document. The App shows you the extracted details before saving so you can confirm or correct them. ExpireNot is a convenience tool — it is not a substitute for checking your own documents, and we are not responsible for consequences of relying on an unverified or incorrect date.

4. Reminders Are Best-Effort

We send reminders by push notification and email on the schedule shown in the App. Delivery depends on factors outside our control — your device settings, notification permissions, email filtering, and third-party networks. We do not guarantee that any reminder will be delivered or seen, and you should not rely on the Services as your only safeguard against a document expiring. You remain responsible for renewing your documents on time, and for any fees, fines, missed travel, lapsed coverage, or other consequences of an expired document.

5. Plans, Subscriptions, and Billing

  • Free plan — track up to 3 documents with the standard reminder schedule.
  • Pro plan — a paid subscription that unlocks unlimited documents, custom reminder schedules, and custom document types.

Pro subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play at the price shown at purchase, on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your App Store or Google Play account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies. If your subscription ends, your documents are not deleted, but documents over the free limit become read-only until you resubscribe or remove them. While your account holds more documents than the Free plan allows, no expiry reminders are sent for any document until you are back within the limit or resubscribe. Prices and plan features may change; changes apply from your next billing period after notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose, or to scan documents you have no right to hold or manage
  • Attempt to probe, breach, or overload the Services or their security measures
  • Reverse engineer, resell, or copy the Services except as permitted by law
  • Use automated means to access the Services outside their intended interfaces
  • Upload content that is malicious or infringes others’ rights

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Your Content

You retain all rights to the information you add to ExpireNot. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to operate the Services (for example, to extract details from a scanned photo and send you reminders). We do not use your document details for advertising and we do not sell them.

8. Our Intellectual Property

The Services, including the App, Website, branding, and underlying software, are owned by Code Majesty Tech LLC or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or software other than the personal, non-transferable right to use the Services as intended.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time from within the App. We may suspend or terminate the Services or your account for breach of these Terms, or discontinue the Services with reasonable notice. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3, 4, and 10–12) survive.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that extracted information or reminders will be accurate or timely.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Code Majesty Tech LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, missed travel, government fees or fines, lapsed insurance coverage, or other losses resulting from an expired document, inaccurate extracted information, or undelivered reminders. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer protections available in your country of residence.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and adjust the “Last updated” date; for material changes we will provide additional notice in the App or by email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
